Hello all,

I have 2 QPOD sports which are both UK registered and keep one here and one in Switzerland, and change them over once a year when the MOT's are due.

I continue to have battery problems if I leave the battery in the car and its not used (the UK one), but I take the battery out when I am not in Switzerland and I do not seem to have any problems if this is done, as I did have the same problem there but removing and reinstalling it when I go there seems to work ok.

for info I have also installed pull starters, which do work and I would consider being essential when you are half way up a mountain and the starter stops!.

does anyone else have battery problems whilst its connected to the vehicle? I seem to get a maximum of 2yrs out of one battery.

I simply take them off , or detach the red/ positive terminal . The alternator/ dynamo charging system gives is low, hence the battery struggles to keep the battery charged to peak.

Hi everyone,
I live in the north east of Scotland and had a 3 wheeled qpod 50 for 18 months now, driven once. It's now in my project.
Stripped it down in garage, there is an issue with the right hand door , the hunger is broken, there are a few scratches on the body shell, but apart from that it's all good. Planning to have it on the road by summer, so any advice truly accepted.

Thanks...
Happy qpoding
Hello Craig,

Hello Micheal.

Great news on your QPOD!
You’ll find a more active community on the Facebook group QPOD Owners Club (link below), also you’ll likely be interested in the 2nd North West Rally being held Cheshire in May 2018 (be great to have you hand you Pod along for the fun).

Thanks for the reply

Mike

I’m rarely on Facebook myself these days apart from common interest groups.

But the fellow owners on the FaceBook group are really very friendly.
Here’s a link to the rally event page for you to have a look at...
