i'm not sure what i have done to my Pod, but it's rebelling.

Yesterday the Wiper broke off in the Pouring Rain.

Tonight i stopped off at the shops and it refused to start.
Much scratching of head and deduced No Spark - not another coil i hope.
No - the Relay "that never goes wrong" wasn't working.
Removed the wire that goes to teh Coil and away we went you think ?

No.

The Throttle cable then broke as i pulled out of the car park.

All working now - but i hope my pod perks up soon !

alex.
Pod is back up to Full strength thankfully.

Wiper Arm replaced. Thank you Cunninghams.
Relay replaced. Old one got full of water (from the previous day nodoubt)
Throttle Cable was silly money so i made one. Total Cost £4.80 and a few mins soldering.
I have to say that it wasn't all that easy to fit.
Hi Everyone! Firstly we would like to say a huge thank you to Nick Devonport for our wonderful Qpod sport that we took off his hands last Friday. Percy happily took us the hundred odd miles from Dover to North Finchley in just over 3 hours (and less than a tank of petrol!).

Some friends bought Quentin (their red pod) last year and when we moved to North London this winter insisted on lending it to us as we were car-less. We panicked when we realised they would soon be wanting it back (nice weather) as we had fallen in love with it, so decided we had to get our own.

Quentin was still parked in our drive Friday night when we pulled up with Percy and curious neighbours came out to ask if we had now bought 'his and hers'!

We work from home, and needless to say, in this wonderful April sunshine, look for any excuse to leave our desks and take Percy out for a spin, though we fight over who's going to drive!

Qpods are good for your health: As you can't help but laugh and smile whenever you're out in it, remember you are adding years to your life!

as the pod is going again i decided to take it for a bit of a spin today. ended up doing nearly 100 miles in it. gr8 fun but would have been better with 2 pods( or more ). anyone live near me on here???.
What a laugh we had today.....
The current Mrs C whom some of you know as Karen has decided that perhaps she may try and get me to buy her a new car... (Yeah Right!!!!) so we decided to have a ride out in Rod the Pod 2 and see what was about. We ended up at a prestige car sales site in Leeds that specialise in Ferraris, Mustangs, BMW, Audi, Mercs etc. I parked Rod at the back of the car park out of the way next to what turned out to be the MD's Mustang and we went for a look around. We found a rather nice Beemer M-Sport that we were interested in so were looking round to find a saleman, strange thing was there was no-one around which makes a change as they are usually all over you. Having looked for a while we thought oh well obviously they don't want to sell anything today and decided to head off. When we got to the car park we found 4 sales guys a couple of customers and the Managing Director standing around Rod The Pod poking and prodding him about!!!!!! So much for all their flash motors eh!!!!! MD wanted to buy him to display in his showroom but refused to do me a strait swap for his M-Sport. Shame............... Cheers, Chris.
Speedo not working on my buggy. But the speedo is all fixed..... after being told it was the cable, then the speedo. Trying to source new and/or used parts. It was the part that fits into the engine. Thank heavens for my Grandson's plastic play money (2x10p pieces) and a bit of super glue, bit unorthodox, but it worked and saved me a small fortune.

Hi, I,m looking for a post 2003 Qpod sport. Anyone thinking of selling one please get in touch!

I have had a picnic wicker basket made specially to fit on the luggage rack. As the bodywork of my Funtech is blue, the retaining leather straps have been made in matching blue with brass buckles. With its white wall tyres it looks a treat. I only drive it in Gibraltar because here it is safe. We pack all our beach clobber into the basket plus food and drink and off we go. Wherever it is parked it always draws attention. Children love it. Visitors take photographs. The Police halt the trafffic to let it go past. The buggy is the star. We love it. It has 16,000 miles on the clock and kept immaculate. Sleeps in the garage under a duvet. No expense is spared on it to keep it pristine.

Last year I had the engine redone and spent £800 on that. It fairly roars. This year all the undercarriage painted.

Additionally I have acquired an authentic 6 volt vintage Klaxon. It can make two sounds: Either a hooting noise or an ARRROOGAH  noise.  Depending on circumstance, depending on what noise bystanders and other traffic are treated to. LOL.

I had someone come up to me last night and ask if my 50cc qpod was electric.

Maybe not a stupid question on the face of it, but I was filling it up with Petrol at the time.

Hi i have a 3 wheel 50 cc qpod and would like to ask if somone can send me a photo of how the stableizer wheels fit as i dont know were thay go also does anyone know were i can get a washer bottle & pump for the 50cc q pod please My email address is green.clean @hotmail.co.uk
