Qpod Club - be a part of the fun!

Was just browsing the web and have read two articles recently on French sites about a diesel version of the 500 being made by Secma. Does anyone know much more about it? Sounds like it will be very restricted to 45kmh aimed at a particular European licence?

Here's a google translation of the article

A NEW MODEL FOR 2010 SECMA
After the fire in the spring of last year, which had ravaged some 3,500 m2 of premises, SECMA just obtained the building permit that will reconstruct the buildings on the disaster zone, lying between the two local spared the flames. While waiting for better days, the SECMA now simply make these two-seaters models, namely the F 16 and 500 Extr'm Fun, Fun and Family, which has four seats. Pending, a diesel version of the Fun Extr'm 500 should be commercialized soon. Powered by a 442 cm3 engine, this vehicle without a license will not exceed 45 Km / H, to respect the law. After his adventure with the brand ERAD, the French manufacturer renews with vehicles without permits, to meet the demand of some users, attracted by the look of Fun Extr'm 500.
