Qpod Club - be a part of the fun!

After much research, several test drives in various cars I decided the QT500 just isn't going to be practical enough as daily commuter and i've stopped looking for one now.

I've decided to get a Smart Roadster Coupe instead. It was a close race and although the Roadster isn't as fun to drive as a QT500, it has a similarly unique design, is low to the ground, mid-engined and efficient just like the QT. Where it wins though is underneath it's a normal car. The Coupe version also has the hard top and glass rear roof/boot providing a bit more luggage space than the standard soft top Roadster. They can be found for similar money to a good QT500 too.

This forum has been a great resource, i'll pop in every now and then, but thanks all.

It is also the end of my QT500. As good as it is, I too need more practicality than it can offer.

I am limited to a 500cc with cheap insurance yet there are other 500cc vehicles that are more practical than the QT; Aixams, Microcars, Ligiers etc.
Jordan - go for the Ligier if you can find a good un.

Microcars are OK but IMHO tend to be somewhat over priced.

The Aixam's are again ok, but do not take any abuse well.

Sam - 2 people where I work have the Smart Roadster - They both love em.
