Secma Qpod Club

Qpod Club - be a part of the fun!

Now I've picked up the Funtech I can tell you..........

I am 50 years old and have driven everything from bikes to trucks. I have owned BMW's Porche's Jags quad bikes just about every type of Motorbike and even had a 1972 Beach Buggy but NEVER EVER have I driven anything that is as much fun as this little buggy. I am having to visit my Doc to have the smile surgically from my face!!!!! Does anyone know where I can get hold of a second hand roof of some type and/or some doors?

My mates were all laughing when I took it to the pub but when it came back after they had all had a go in it they now all want one.

The funniest thing was when my missus saw it for the first time...... Oh my goodness I still can't stop laughing......... what a great machine!

Ah Chris, you're experiencing the strange phenomena called "Pod-Grin" it's infectious.
You also seem to have discovered the mantra of then non-pod-owners which is chanted as follows: "I-Want-One!"
Enjoy
xx
Hi Chris and welcome to the Forums.

I know the Q-Pod Grin very well :) I think most of us do.
I also know the Pub Syndrome, but it also happens almost everywhere you go.....

You can buy new doors and roof from Cunninghams, but I suggest that you are seated before you ask "How Much."
They may however have the odd 2nd hand set pass through their shop.
There was 1 set on Ebay last year, but they are very few and far between.

Alex.
Hi Again and thanks for your comments I think it looks like I will have to get used to the ''Pod-Grin'' syndrome whether I will ever get used to people waving and smiling as I drive past I don't know.

Thanks for the advise about the roof and doors Alex I had already seen the price of new ones from Cunninghams and nearly fell over that's why I'm on the lookout for some second hand ones. Having ridden bikes for years I'm not too fussed about getting wet but her indoors aint too keen on the idea.

I look forward to whatever get together you podders may have in the future I will be there I'm sure that a meeting of pods is even more entertaining. What is the name for a gathering of Qpods Gaggle, Herd, Flock of Pods maybe?

All the best all happy podding!
Hey Alex Just noticed your Pod is exactly the same as mine they must be twins!!
So what do (did) you ride ?
I have a Guzzi Breva 1100.
Before then I had a few VFR800's.

Got the pod to save teh Guzzi from the winter salt.....
Just sold my Harley Sportster but still have my Honda CBR600. I would really like a VFR 800 since my mate has one and it drives like a dream but every time I go out on the CBR I've had it so long I feel like it is part of me. I've had it 5 years and it's on a T plate but only done 18000 miles. Do you like the Guzzi as much as the VFR's people tell me that the older VFR750 was the 'perfect' bike?
