Went out today, but didnt know i have been driven with my handbreak on all the time thought i smelt something burning :(

 

pod ok still works and the break and the handbrake still work but have i damaged it?

Hi Rex,

 

You should be OK, I have done that many times and when you get to the other end and go to put the handbrake on you feel such a fool!!!

yeah, felt sorry for it having to work alot more hard work

hi mate i read somewhere that you could have damaged the brakes might want to check them for wear and tear

I have had mine a month and do it all the time it drives me mad that I keep forgetting, that and reving the engine while its in gear :/

 

I for get the hand brake is on untill I notice it struggles to get over 30 mph..... Thinking of sticking a sticker on the andle bars saying HAND BRAKE!!!

 

As for breaking it..... i this things seem almost indestructable, mine is still works when fully clicked up, else I leave it half way to stop it rolling about but isnt so bad if I forget again

That's a common error. All of us do it all the time. Surprisingly it does not seem to do any harm.

The other error is driving off with the choke pulled out.

The clue is loss of power and a strong smell of petrol.
