Secma Qpod Club

Qpod Club - be a part of the fun!

Hi All

Just had a new carb fitted on my qpod sport.  It runs better, but still seems to lack that get up and go.  It seems to struggle to get to about 36mph whereas it used to get to about 44mph with no trouble.

Any ideas would be much appreciated!

many thanks

Dave

hi dave . thats right out of my league. but i`m after a carb and manifold if youre

intrested in selling your old one . cheers mick

if you get a popping sound - check the coil gap.

I wrote about that 2 or 3 weeks ago so dig through my replies....

Sorry Mick, I'm afraid we scrapped it.

Thanks Matt, I've printed off Alex's instructions from previous post, and going to have a go at stripping it down tonight.  Fingers crossed!!!

Hi Dave,

Look back a couple of pages on the forum to a similar question.  I solved the problem (well the garage did) by cleaning the coil on my Qpod.  It worked for me, and I'm happily back to 45mph!!

Matt

I tried cleaning this but still only pushing 38mph but the back firing has stopped.....
