I believe cab kits are like rocking horse ----. I made a roof/doors for my fun extr'm , check out the photos on my page, if you want any details materials etc. just ask. Others have done similar done for Qpods.
I used a waterproof polyester and tent window material. from penine outdoor www.pennineoutdoor.co.uk, materials P14 & P49. I have reservations on choosing the polyester, condura or proofed nylon might have been a better choice or real vinyl, I kept the cost low as I developed it! . It suits my needs I use the roof only when I have to! & use the secma when the forcast is reasonable. I feel the polyester might not prove very durable over time.
The roof attaches round the screen with zips the zip is sewn onto a strip of nylon material which is stuck with double sided sticky tape to the top side of the window frame under the rubber. at the back the roof attaches over various existing screws with elastics. it is stiffened with tent poles.
The big advantage to me is it packs small and stows in the car.
I am happy to supply more detailed photos etc. if you require. Hope this helps.
Regards Roger.
