Calling anyone who has dropped the engine out of their QPod Sport. I need to get mine overhauled but have to take it out first. Step-by-step instructions would be great but any advice would help.

It's not hard.
Take off the rear bumper and Mudguards. Dont forget the Number plate light .....
Clamp the Fuel line and disconnect that.
Disconnect the wiring loom. large plug behind the number plate.
Disconnect the Throttle, Choke and Starter Motor.
Starter motor solonoid is under the frame rail and a fiddle to get to.
Undo the large nut on Drive shaft and remove the Outside pully half and belt ( you may as well get a new Belt)
To get the nut undone you may have to remove the Fan Cover and hold the fan still with a suitable doofah. A jemmy works well :)
Take care not to hit the coil which sits just above the fly wheel / fan.
Remove the exhaust pipe.
There is a Plate that holds the top of the engine, 4 bolts from memory.
Then there are the 2 hanger bars either side of the engine. Losen them but don't take them off.
Then 4 Bolts under the engine and slide it out.
The engine is quite heavy, 20 + KG.
Whilst the engine is out:
Rebuild / clean the Blocks in the pully. It may be worth replacing the blocks.
Check the starter Motor out - turn the brushes over if they look to have worn unevenly.
Grease the Universal Joints on the Drive Shaft.
Grease the rear wheel bearings.
+ anything else that looks like it needs doing :)
