Qpod Club - be a part of the fun!

I have had my Qpod for nearly two years and thought that it could do with another service. I contacted McGaffigans,at Hest Bank Near Carnforth Lancashire. But they will not touch any more Qpods as they have had a bad experience which they say cost them alot of money. Does anyone know any dealers Cumbria/ Lancashire who could service.

Hi
The Engine service is certainly not hard to do with a very basic tool kit and socket set.

You can get a Plug and Air Filter from any Lombardini Dealer or Cunninghams.

The only consumables are the Plug, airfilter and oil. There is no Oil Filter on a Pod.

The Oil drain is at the back of the engine behind the number plate.
Warm up the engine a bit and With a suitable container un do the Bolt and let the oil drain out.
Put the Bolt back in and re fill with GOOD QUALITY, preferably Semi Synthetic, 10 W 40 Oil.
I Use Halfords own brand.
Top the oil up to 1/2 way up the dip stick Run teh engine for a few mins. The levle will drop a bit. Top it up again.

Pull the Plug Cap off and replace the Spark Plug.

Un do the Air Filter cover, replace the Papaer+ Foam filter.
Inside the cover there may also be a course filter. Give that a clean.

Job Done.
