Tazzari Zero Electric Quadricycle

I've been closely following this cars progress for over a year now and it's finally going into production soon/now after being shown at Bologna Motorshow. I like it in a quirky way, much like the QT. Obviously it's way too expensive new, but then all electric cars will be until they become more popular to bring battery prices down or the government helps us.

Thought some fellow members here might be interested it? More info on t'internet.

What is it you are looking for sam?

I am reconsidering my QT as with the colder weather, it is not too pleasant. It is designed for the summer and does not fit my needs, as good as it is. If like me you need something small and quirky to get you around, have you considered the Microcar? From my point of view, the 500cc means that I get the same cheap insurance as with the QT.

I am interested in the Microcar. They use the same engine as the QT therefore the only difference is the body and the automatic transmission. They don't have the same sporty look as the QT yet offer complete dryness and a good heating system. They have 4 seats but obviously you can't expect to get 4 adults in.

In terms of other small vehicles, they beat the aixam which is only capable of 55mph. Although speed isn't everything, I am not looking to be holding the traffic up! Using the same engine, I imagine the Microcar exceeds the top speed of the manufacturers suggestion of 70mph, in the same way the QT exceeds its suggestions. Aixams are renowned for their gearbox trouble as well.
