Warranty problems with Barrus

My Qpod is still with the Barrus dealer 2 weeks after a drive shaft broke for the second time in 5 months. They are apparently argueing with Barrus about the warranty.
Barrus are apparently saying that their fund for payouts on warranties for vehicles imported by the Qpod company they took over last year has run out, and there is no more money to pay out on claims!
Has anybody else had the same problem, and if so what was the outcome?

You say you have had dealings with Nigel Scarr(a very nice man from Secma Franc)e It cannot be the same Nigel Scarr(the very arrogant man from Qpod GB) that I had dealings with when I had problems with my boot lid. As far as he was concerned the problem was not in manufacture but was caused by my negligence. They would not take the agents word that the hinge section had been manufactured ultra thin on one side thus eventually after five or six openings and general road vibrations it broke.I did eventually sort things out but he originally wanted me to pay about £110 for a new lid. I also had to return at my expense the damaged lid for inspection. After many heated e-mails he told me to forget about the whole matter. But it left me with a nasty taste and when Barrus took over I thought that that this nasty man would not be heard of again. I only hope that Ido not have to deal with him again|

hi the mechanic who worked on your pod cant be that good , both wheels should run free and be roughly the same temputure, cunninghams are the people to see , thanks elvis
