"Hello, I was just wondering seen as you have a Qpod Fun yourself how safe are they? Have you ever had any acidents caused by the fact that they are slower than cars and other motor vehicles on the road? Also is there anything that goes wrong alot…"

Thank you for your kind comments about Podgy. She's a little character and everyone loves her.
At 16, your pod would have to be governed to 28mph by law, but to be honest when you're stuck in traffic no-one goes any faster anyway. My insurance is very low, but bear in mind I'm three times your age!
Spares can be a little tricky but Cunninghams in Norfolk always come up trumps. You will neef to find a garage that does a class 3 mot (trikes). You will need to pass a CBT, which takes a day and is huge fun. I would recommend Camriders if they operate near you. I think it's about £100 plus bike hire. It'll qualify you to ride a moped too but you are so much safer in the pod given that it has seatbelts and a roll cage. You won't be able to give your friends a lift though. Tax as you are probably aware is £15 a year and I think mine does about 70 miles to the gallon. Never ever use cheap oil, you'l go through spark plugs like they're going out of fashion. Always buy 2 stroke scooter oil form a bike shop. The supermarket stuff results in lumpy timing and clouds of smelly smoke.
