Hi and Thanx. I wholeheartedly support the quest and campaign for lower tax on the QPOD. It is rediculous as it stands. I would certainly add my name to any partition to lobby the government on this issue. Everyone to whom I have spoken say the same…

HI, I usually draw the attention of the car park attendant (if there is one) to the fact that my little car has no security and he or she usually obliges by keeping an eye on it. As for the tickets issue, I often take a photograph of the displayed…

POD spares

Hi all,

I have some images of POD parts which I have replaced recently. I tried uploading but the programme wouldn't let me. However, What do people think of the idea of compiling a list of parts and compatable replacements as people replace them? After a time we would have a list of potential replacement parts from other vehicles. Phtos of the parts may also help to identify them.

Ihave Shock absorber numbers, and a compatable kit with compatable brake springs in it. Any good…

Oh yeah - DOH! it's at the old Bubblecar Museum Byron Leap in Lincolnshire it's listed in the canping and caravanning club book if you're a member. I will speak to everyone and find a date possibly early September for a meet up and post the date on here.

Hi Howard, I have only been a member of the club for a few months and they are a great bunch of people. We had the clubs 2nd Annual rally last month and about 16 Pods showed up that's where the pictures came from. It was a really good weekend and everyone enjoyed it. Lots of people brought tents and some of us took along our motorhomes and Chris & Steve turned up in a hired Luton van and camped in the back of that having taken out the pods.
The site we went to was ideal for what we wanted with loads of things to do and some great roads for our run out and so we will probably use it again next year. Alex did a great job of organising the rally this year but it was hard woork so I volunteered for next year. However it has been suggested that we have an informal get together before the summer is over whcih would be great. I have spoken to a few people and we will probably just go to the same site one weekend and whoever can make it is welcome to turn up. The more the merrier. We also have a page on facebook don't know if you have found it but if you search Q-pod it will take you there. Look forward to meeting you soon. All the best Chris & Karen
