brake adjustment 350cc

Any advice please. I have a 2001 350cc pod which the drum brakes need adjustment since it has has stood for quite a period. What is the best way to adjust, is there a knack ie, adjust on the rear of the drum until the brakes start to bind then back off, or done in mm lever adjustment???Any advice appreciated as currently the pedal need quite alot of pressure and the brakes are not very good, either on or off, not alot inbetween. All wheels/drums have been removed, all levers now move easily and…See More

Hi, in my earlier post I put 4 gram rollers. The correct weight is actually 4.5 gram rollers. Now just another example of how cunninghams try to rip you off. Whe I telephoned for the rollers, I had driven 1hr 30mins to the shop to buy a new exhaust.…

Hi, I have a 2001 50cc as well and I have managed to find parts for it. You refer to NGK. The NGK spark plug is BR7HS. If you want a performance spark plug, go for BR7HIX. You can get this on ebay for about £8. The engine is morini I…

Hi, thanks for your mail. It will go on a special trailer, not a conventional trailer that is attached via a normal towball but this trailer from (www.ezetow.co.uk) is attached at 2 points, its two wheels are like supermarket trolley wheels and can…

It seems with more investigstion the Franco morini engine is an engine supplied as a italjet formula 50cc air cooled engine. See ebay 150346280030 for the identical side casing as used on our qpods.

Posted on June 12, 2009 at 8:58pm 0 Comments

Hi all, new to here. Bought 2001 funtech 50cc this week for behind my motorhome. The problem is when on full throttle seems to hunt all the time, it is as if it has a restrictor than keeps cutting in, the revs surge constantly. The mileage is 6000 miles , it starts perfectly, ticks over smoothly, by the look of past documents has had a piston kit fitted.

Any help appreciated wether its carburretor on something more serious.

Also could anyone tell me which piaggio i would get spares… Continue
