Mine has done this a couple of times recently and the reason was that one of the battery terminals had vibrated loose. Turn the key and lights etc seem to work O.K. but the starter just clicks! Have you checked the terminals yet?

Hello Martyn, I got a new battery for my Qpod Sport a few months ago. I got the code number from the side of the old one and went round the local motor parts places. I could not get the same make of battery but that didn't matter as long as the numb…

Hi John Just going through the Forum (quiet day at the UK Border Agency) and found your starter problem. My Sport suffered from a jammed starter which was temporarily cured by a liberal application of WD40 through a hole in the fan housing but I ev…

I had trouble twice with rear hub/drive shaft which had to be replaced (hub was oval and end of driveshaft mangled (see previous postings), and as I am now wary of the problem reoccuring again I often feel the hubs. The back left one (the one where…

I was interested in the boot and side doors you have on your qpod, did you make it yourself what is it made from and how is it fitted?

Richard

Hello John
Sorry to take so long to reply to your last comment. I have been in Spain for the last week. Had to get away from the Cumbrian weather. Returned on Thursday to floods,so until they subside The Qpod will remain covered.I hope now that Barrus have taken over the warranty and sevicing that things will be better. When I had the trouble with the boot P. Cotton was quite good. But after a initial discussion with Qpod left me to it to fight it out with them. I dealed with Nigel Scarr whom I found was very abusive and uncooperative.
My windscreen bottle is like yours . I think that it is set too high above the jets and therefore when you brake sharply the water travels down the tubes.
Regards
Chris

Hi John
When I first got my pod I had trouble with a broken boot lid. Qpod were not very helpful at first as they waned me to pay for a new one before they would see whether it was a warranty claim..Eventually I got a replacement which Phil Cotton fitted but gave me the old one back to return and to fight it out with Qpod. After a big fight with them they let me have the replacement for free without sending back the broken one. I have contacted McGaffagans sometime ago. It was my intention to have the servicing etc done there. A friend of mine has bought two quads from them and had repairs and servicing without any problems.Hope I dont have the same ones as you have.
Regards
